Work under the direction of the Program Manager serving individuals presenting for behavioral health services. Conducts initial intake for individuals seeking services. Provide client with information regarding services, fee schedules and client rights and responsibilities. Determines and record financial, insurance, and demographic information. Performs thorough assessment of the needs of each client referred for services. Coordinate treatment planning for persons receiving all adult outpatient treatment services including case management, medication clinic, outpatient psychotherapy, and group programs. Meets with person served and/or significant others to coordinate treatment planning. When required, review treatment plans, conduct assessments, and discuss services with treatment team members. Complete Functional Assessment Rating Scale (FARS) and Performance Measures. Prepare medical records according to Center specifications. Use computer for word processing, data analysis, and medical records documentation. Abides by professional and agency ethical standards..
Job Requirements
Education:
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or closely related field.
Experience:
1-3-years
Licensure / Certification:
Valid Florida driver’s license. Required to complete CPT, CPR and Aids Training and maintain up-to-date certification.
Complexity of Duties:
Requires knowledge of psychopathology, diagnostic assessment and must have appropriate decision-making skills. Strong interviewing skills are required to establish rapport and conduct an interview that will elicit quickly the data upon which the assessment is based.
