Assists the Recreation Therapist in the following duties: assessment planning, coordinating and facilitating resident groups, documentation of weekly treatment summaries in resident records, quarterly progress reports for each resident, and Treatment Team Planning.
Job Requirements
Education:
A.S. or A.A. Degree in Recreation Therapies.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 – 2 years in adolescent psychiatric setting.
Licensure / Certification:
Valid Florida driver’s license (Class D).
Complexity of Duties:
Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team approach to treatment. Must have knowledge of Treatment planning principles and to apply skills to ensure the treatment plans are implemented. Must know and practice Professional Code of Ethics of Therapeutic Recreation Services.
